Today held the visit from the Surveyor to mark the corners that we need for the extensions to begin. Its pretty exciting that we are getting some steps happening and a little surreal being able to stand in what will be our new bedroom eventually. Looking at the house pegged out the small room does look really very small, which we are a little worried about, and our room looks awesomely huge. Is awesomely even a word?
Maddie was playing with play dough while I tackled some of Nathan's ironing today, and making different shapes. She insisted that this one was a Dinosaur and spent ages making it walk around and making roaring sounds. I'm pretty sure Maddie could roar with the best of the Dinosaurs around now.
Tonight I took Diesel to the vet as his cut isn't healing and as I had separated him from the others he was crying 24/7. Hopefully with the antibiotics his wound will heal and I wont have to separate him again. Even though I have been given sedatives for him, apparently with cats, more often than not they don't actually work. Poor Diesel pretty much passed out as soon as we got home, I'm not convinced that he has slept in the last couple of days while he was away from the others and I am amazed that the neighbours didn't complain about his meowing. My gosh he is loud.
