Today, we had what felt like our first day of summer as it has been so far between days over 30 degrees. Maddie and I went for a walk at 930 this morning with a few of our friends, and by the time we got back to the park an hour later it was too hot for the girls to play. The boys, however didn't mind the scorching plastic against their hands. Between mountains of washing, assembling Maddie's table that we got from Aldi and the scrubbing the dining room, Maddie and I had some time out in the sun.
Maddie loves her turfed area, and today, it was a good time to pull out some of her outside toys. The little sand water table was filled with water and then toys as Maddie collected them to splash in the water. I figured she would probably have more fun in her little pool, but to my surprise it took a fair amount of coaxing to get her into it. Maddie loved it when Tucker came for a drink, and thought it was pretty fun to try copy him.
